Ahhhh everyone’s favorite – detail photos! A “flat lay” is a detailed lay out filled with all of your special wedding day details….the little things, the something old, new, borrowed, & blue. Your shoes, your jewelry. Everything! We even photograph all of the Groom’s details too.
Below you will find everything that we recommend having for your detail photos. While we all have some props to add in like dishes, ring boxes, & ribbon, we will gladly use anything that you provide us with as well! Typically, it’s best to keep everything in a box so that once we arrive onsite we can just grab the box and dive right in! I also always recommend having a Bride box and a Groom box. Opening & unwrapping things like jewelry, perfume/cologne boxes, etc. is a huge help also.

Purchasing props to include like ring boxes, ring dishes, ribbons, etc. is never required, but it can add a great personal touch! Some custom props that people like to include are custom ring boxes, ribbon to fit their color palette, and dishes to match the theme. (vintage chic, coastal, or modern)
